Project goal: The Mining & Milling video provides an overview of the Red Dog Mine mining process to help stakeholders better understand how zinc and lead from the operation are mined, milled, and brought to market.
Constraints/Challenges: Breaking down the sophisticated mining, milling, and minerals marketing processes into a short, easy-to-understand, compelling video was the primary challenge of the piece.
The solution: I completed the draft script and initial storyboards after extensive interviews with engineers at the mine site. Vérité, Inc. provided video animation and assisted with script revision. The final product was a simple and elegant video easily understood by all stakeholders.
